In this final visualization, we explore employees and what they spend their time on. The beginning view lists each Employees' total hours worked in descending order. If you would like you can instead look at the average (using the median) hours worked of each Employee by clicking in the bottom right on “Sort by Average.” The color still represents hours worked as well. The darker the shade of the green the higher the hours. You can scroll up and down and zoom in on a certain group of individuals using the filter on the right side of the chart. By hovering over the bars, you can see the exact total hours for each Employee. By clicking on any of the bars the entire bar chart will transfigure into a tree-map in which the corresponding Employee's hours will be broken down by each task they have worked on. The size of the boxes in the tree-map, along with the coloring, correspond to hours worked, so the larger the box the higher the hours were for that task.
While this visualization is more exploratory and less practical than the dashboard we can still see some interesting things. First, we can see there is a decent desparity in the total amount of hours worked over the couple month period. However, when comparing people who worked the most and the least both groups seem to spend a lot of time on "Panel" and "Main Steel" tasks. These take up over 50% of many peoples time spent working. But, even though those tasks appear to be taking up most people's time, if you "Sort by Average (Median)" you will notice that the people who spend the most average time on tasks do not tend to be work on "Main Steel" or "Panel". Most of the workers who have high average times per task spend most of their working time focused on Shop activities or they did not enter the task they were working on.
